Chargers’ Jacob Schrick Named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week
Vyve Salutes Jefferson County North Linebacker For Outstanding Play
Jefferson County North senior middle linebacker Jacob Schrick was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for his outstanding play in the Chargers’ 46-0 win over Troy Friday night.
Schrick led a dominating defensive effort with a pair of interceptions in the blowout shutout of the Trojans. Schrick was all over the field, prompting Troy coach Ron Shelton to distinguish the Chargers’ linebacker as “the best they’d faced all year.”
The Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week is presented to the player who most exemplifies competition, teamwork, leadership and sportsmanship for his high school team each Friday night.
For week eight, that player is Jefferson County North’s Jacob Schrick.

Vyve Broadband Salutes Redwater Running Back For Outstanding Play
Redwater senior running back Lavoundrick Vaughn was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for his outstanding play in the Dragons’ 48-14 win over New Boston Friday night.
Vaughn did it all, rushing for 158 yards and two touchdowns, catching a pair of passes for another 56 yards and throwing a touchdown pass to wideout Joe Hendrix in the blowout win over the Lions.
The Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week is presented to the player who most exemplifies competition, teamwork, leadership and sportsmanship for his high school team each Friday night.
For week eight, that player is Redwater’s Lavoundrick Vaughn.

Dumas freshman running back Kylin James was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for his outstanding play in the Bobcats’ 46-8 win over DeWitt Friday night.
On the night, James rushed for 200 yards and four touchdowns in the big win over the Dragons. This is the second Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week honor for the freshman running back.

For week eight, that player is Dumas’ Kylin James.

Lions’ Jeremy Seward Named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week
Vyve Broadband Salutes Durant Wide Receiver For Outstanding Play
Durant junior wide receiver Jeremy Seward was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for his outstanding play in the Lions’ 37-14 loss to Noble Friday night.
On the night, Seward had 11 catches for 166 yards and a touchdown in a losing effort to the Bears. This is the second Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week award for Seward.

For week eight, that player is Durant’s Jeremy Seward.

Bulldogs’ Donovan Yarbrough Named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week
Vyve Broadband Salutes Hooker Quarterback For Outstanding Play
Hooker junior quarterback Donovan Yarbrough was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for his outstanding play in the Bulldogs’ 44-6 win over Mooreland Friday night.
On the night, Yarbrough went 17-for-26 for 257 yards and four touchdowns passing in the blowout of the Bearcats. This is Yarbrough’s second consecutive Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week award, sharing last week’s honor with teammate Tanner McBee.

For week eight, that player is Hooker’s Donovan Yarbrough.

Panthers’ Jayson Upton Named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week
Vyve Broadband Salutes Cumberland Gap Running Back For Outstanding Play
Cumberland Gap senior running back Jayson Upton was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for his outstanding play in the Panthers’ 26-20 win over Claiborne Friday night.
Upton averaged almost 22-yards a carry, rushing for 109 yards, highlighted by a 58-yard touchdown sprint to lead the Panthers to the win and end a nine-game losing streak to the Bulldogs.

For week eight, that player is Cumberland Gap’s Jayson Upton.
