Claiborne sophomore quarterback Eli Stone was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for his outstanding play in the Bulldogs’ 20-22 loss to Middlesboro Friday night.

Stone led an impressive comeback against the Yellowjackets and shined when the team needed him most. He helped drive the team on what looked to be a game winning drive, scoring on a quarterback keeper with less than two minutes left in the game. Stone threw for 113 yards on 7 of 25 passing, rushed for 88 yards and had two touchdowns.

Castellanos led the Gators with 129 yards on 30 carries, 109 yards passing and two touchdowns. His rushing touchdowns and game-winning two-point conversion pass in the end zone were what sealed the deal against the Bears.
