McGehee sophomore Jody Easter was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for his outstanding play in the Owls’ 61-15 win over Conway Christian Friday night.

Easter helped lead the Owls to victory by forcing a fumble and scoring two touchdowns in the team’s first game of the season.

Guymon sophomore quarterback Carson Martinez was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for his outstanding play in the Tigers’ 13-34 loss to Western Heights Friday night.

Martinez led the Tigers with 108 total yards rushing and two scoring runs of 13 yards each.

Coffee senior wide receiver Jaylen Suggs was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for his outstanding play in the Trojans’ 64-8 win over Salem Friday night.

Suggs led the Trojans to victory with two catches for 98 yards and one touchdown.

Claiborne senior wide receiver Haydn Hollin was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for his outstanding play in the Bulldogs’ 45-54 loss to Union County Friday night.

Hollin had ten receptions for 231 yards, two touchdowns and a two-point conversion reception in the shootout against the Patriots.

Vyve Broadband Salutes Brantley County O-Line For Outstanding Play

Brantley County offensive line was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for their outstanding play in the Herons’ 34-16 win over Charlton County Friday night.

Tackles Josh Strickland and Noah Jones, guards Patrick Williams, Jaylen Daniels and Cameron Musgrove, center Will Gibson and tight ends Garrin Knox and Cam Allen helped the Blue Herons rush for 307 yards and control the clock for 34:18 of 48 minutes without punting. It was Brantley’s second victory in history against a ranked opponent, first since beating Charlton in 2016.
