Trojans Azi Johnson Named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week

Vyve Broadband Salutes Coffee Safety For Outstanding Play

Coffee safety Azi Johnson was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for his outstanding play in the Trojans’ 20-7 win over Brunswick Friday night.

Friday Night Vyve, sponsored by Vyve Broadband, recognizes exceptional performances from players on high school teams in Vyve markets each week. Players are nominated by sportswriters who cover their games. They are then recognized through press releases and social media posts from Vyve throughout the following week.

Johnson led the Trojans to victory with 11 tackles, four tackle assists, two interceptions and one pass breakup. This was the opening game for both schools, getting the Trojans off to a 1-0 start.

With the help of Johnson’s performance, Coffee was able to keep Brunswick from avenging their loss last season, when the Trojans also won that matchup 30-13.

“At Vyve, we are committed to the communities we serve and what better way to support these communities than by sharing in the excitement of the Friday night lights,” said Diane Quennoz, Vyve SVP, Marketing and Customer Experience. “We wish the Trojans football team the best of luck this season and are excited to continue honoring the amazing young men on their team.”

Local provider Vyve Broadband invests in Guymon community

What do you look for in a local service provider? Fast Internet service, crystal-clear TV service, reliable Phone service, you may even look for topnotch customer service, but what about community service? At Vyve Broadband, an investment in the communities where their employees live and work is just as much part of their day-to-day operations as the products they offer.

From the day Vyve began serving Guymon five years ago, community service has been a core focus. “Whether we’re donating piñatas for Fiesta Days or setting up an Easter Egg Coloring contest for kids, we feel strongly that contributing to the community is just as important as providing the best communications services in town,” said Jeff Beck, General Manager for Vyve across the Panhandle region.

On their mission to provide the best communciations services, Vyve has significantly overhauled their network to minimize the chances of customer impact if damage to their fiber network occurs by investing millions of private capital to increase Internet speeds more than 20 times what was previously available and putting new circuits in place that provide dual redundancy.

In Guymon, Vyve now offers 105 megabit-per-second service, Vyve® XSTREAM™ TV, which provides access to Vyve’s live HD lineup (a substantial upgrade from the previously analog standard definition video platform), as well as Netflix, Hulu and other popular streaming services right from the TV menu, and unlimited nationwide phone service at the best prices in town.

Recently, Vyve hired new leadership who is building a team to service the Panhandle region and rolled out a program offering free local service on Internet. “It’s important to us that our customers are happy, we’d heard a lot of folks were hesitating to have a technician visit their home so we did away with charging for service appointments,” added Beck. “If you need help, give us a shout and someone from our local team will come by to be sure you’re satisfied, free of charge.”

Vyve has certainly made their impact on Guymon. Their bright yellow tents and signature Vyve Lemonade have become staples at events like Pioneer Days and Fiesta Day where they provide free WiFi service, and their annual ‘Create our Christmas Card Art Contest’ has become a favorite amongst children of all ages in the community. This past November, Vyve hosted an event at the Guymon Library where students received free art supplies to help garner participation in the contest.

“We’ve invested millions in our network infrastructure to offer the best high-speed Internet and HD TV, we’ve even launched phone service, but our commitment to the Guymon community is what I’m most proud of,” said Diane Quennoz, SVP of Marketing & Customer Experience at Vyve.

Vyve is already gearing up for the Fall. “We can’t wait for Fiesta Day! There is so much energy and culture that brings that event to life,” Quennoz exclaimed. “We hope to see everyone there in September.”

VYVE BROADBAND® SET TO EXPAND GIGABIT SERVICE COVERAGE; LAUNCHES 300 MEGABIT-PER-SECOND SPEEDS TO 90% OF CUSTOMERS

Vyve continues to close the broadband availability gap in rural America; investing today in the network consumers will need tomorrow

Vyve Broadband announced today that it has launched a new 300 megabit-per-second service, ‘Vyve 300’, to 90% of its customer base in six states and plans to expand Gigabit service coverage to over 70% of customers, further closing the broadband availability gap in its rural territories.

Vyve 300 increases available Internet speeds from 200Mbps to 300Mbps in most markets and, in areas where Vyve has already deployed 500Mbps and Gig service, the addition of 300Mbps provides another speed option to meet customers’ unique needs and varying budgets. The new service tier is available with or without ‘unlimited data’, another way customers will be able to customize a package based on their consumption.

Jeffrey DeMond, CEO of Vyve Broadband, said “We’re investing today in the network that our customers will need tomorrow. That means industry-leading speeds and a variety of speed tier options to suit all online behaviors.”

Vyve continues to show a laser-focused commitment to providing the fastest, most reliable Internet services in parts of rural areas that have been historically overlooked. “We’re continuously adapting and innovating as connected device counts climb in households across the country,” added DeMond.

Since the company launched, Vyve has focused on upgrading and interconnecting its fiber network in order to provide a broad portfolio of services specifically for rural America. Vyve’s push to deliver ‘Vyve Gig’ to communities serving over 70% of customers and launch of 300Mbps service serve as further proof of their ongoing commitment and investment in their service areas.

System Upgrades Provide Customers with a Vastly Improved Online Experience for
Better Gaming, Streaming and Social Media

Vyve Broadband announced today that it has completed network upgrades in Gueydan that will increase its available Internet speeds to 50Mbps. Vyve’s enhanced broadband network will give customers the fastest, most reliable Internet speeds in the area, providing better gaming, more seamless streaming without buffering, and superior social media experiences online. Gueydan customer installations of the new service have already begun.

For a limited time, Vyve has discounted their 50Mbps service over 55%. No contract or commitment is required and you won’t get hit with any early termination fees. Vyve provides FREE local service, which underscores their commitment to a superior Internet product experience. Current Vyve customers in Gueydan will receive a FREE Internet speed upgrade to 25Mbps for their loyalty.

“It’s clear that Vyve is invested in our community. I value their partnership and commitment to bringing the fastest Internet to Gueydan” said Gueydan Mayor Chris Theriot. “I’m a Vyve customer and have to say, when we’re working at home now sending large files is a breeze!”

The speed increases in Gueydan are important milestones in Vyve’s plan to provide cuttingedge broadband in rural markets that have traditionally lagged behind in technology offerings. These increases will more than double the average speed of existing customers and provide a quantum improvement in the availability of broadband in these areas.

“Vyve is laser-focused on creating unrivaled broadband experiences in markets like Gueydan that are largely ignored by our competitors,” said Mike Kellish, Vyve Broadband’s General Manager in Louisiana. “With a Vyve connection, our customers will have access to lightning-fast broadband services, and we’re thrilled to be raising speeds for our loyal customers for free.”
